Fig Toast

Baby baby baby! Omg, FIG season! Figs, healthy?

Did you know that FIGS are the ultimate wonder-food that balance the intertwining aspects of MIND and GUT health! Yeah, that’s one reason they call them “lil’ aphrodisiacs.” Figs are one of the most effective foods for CLEANING THE GUT! The skin and seeds (fiber) of these beauties massage the intestinal walls pushing all that gunk out to help against bloating. Makes you wanna move those hips, let that hair loose, smile a little! Figs ALSO have unique phytochemicals that bond to minerals that support brain health… thus “mind-gut health food.” I LOVE this healthy, healing, SUPER DELICIOUS, elevated meal!

DIRECTIONS

  • Use gluten-free cinnamon toast
  • Stir honey into ricotta cheese (non-dairy options: Toffuti or Kite Hill)
  • Top with cut figs
  • Drizzle with Almond Butter frosting: I made Almond butter with Vital Proteins Collagen, Sun Potion Triphala and Sun Potion Ashwagandha, cinnamon, local raw honey, sea salt.

She does extensive work with those suffering from specific-related diseases, hormone imbalances, anxiety, and depression. Her goal is to help guide people in understanding balance and what it means to eat and live intentionally for pure bliss, all while our bodies heal and flourish!

Heal+Thy Woman Project was born when she realized the immense necessity and lack-there-of in women’s health and education. For months she wanted to find a new word for “healthy”–being that “healthy” has lost its value in the every-day. She woke up one morning realizing her life’s passion is in the word “healthy”– “Heal Thy”. She believes that to be truly healthy we must first heal. She explains it in this way, “to have a healthy gut we must first “heal thy” gut”. Heal+ Thy Woman Project has become her sole focus to guide women thru healing and becoming more connected with their own beautiful bodies!
